BIBLE STUDY CHAPEL'S FUTURE COMMUNITY CENTER

In 2010, the Bible Study Chapel purchased a 7,000 square feet building on the east side of Indianapolis, IN. The congregation and staff of the Bible Study Chapel is renovating the building for a youth center/ multipurpose building in the immediate area of 2368 N. Spencer Avenue. It will need a lot of work, drywall, tile and other materials.
It will be a place where kids can come and study, get tutoring, fellowship, learn Bible, exercise, and be safe. We feel that the children of the community around our church need a place to go and feel that someone cares for them and loves them. We also believe that it is important that churches help foreign missions, but if we as a body of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ neglect those around us, then we have failed in our mission to be good stewards of God’s word.
Our society today has a mind-set that we should help other countries’ children, but what about our communities, our youth. If the youth grow up and have not one person ever tell them that are important, special, and that they are somebody, then where will the city of Indianapolis be, where will Indiana be, and lastly where will our country be? They are our future. They are the leaders of tomorrow.
The Bible Study Chapel is not asking for a specific amount of materials or even a certain amount of money, but we are asking you to pray and give as the Lord lays on your heart to help our cause. Any amount given or materials given will be used for that purpose and that purpose only. As David said in 1 Samuel 17:29, “…Is there not a cause?”
